This typically northern Australian migrant species irrupted across North-east Victoria from October-2017- Jan 2018. It is possible it will become a more regular Summer visitor to our region in the future. Photo taken in Avoca Lane.

These birds fly in groups, I took this photo from my deck, when I tried to get closer they flew away. There were 3 or 4 of them but I am not sure of what species they are? If you know please comment below.
