We feel extremely lucky to live in such a special place as Hamilton Park where rare and endangered plants thrive and we are visited by special birds including a breeding holiday from a pair of Regent Honeyeaters in 2013 and Turquoise Parrots living and breeding hereabouts.
There are large quantities of beautiful wildflowers and orchids in Spring. One plant of interest is the Narrow Leaf Goodenia, which you will find growing above the top dam near the jetty and in the common land off Henley Drive above the burning pile (marked with stakes)
The private gardens in Hamilton Park also deserve a mention with many residents having great pride in their own gardens as well as the common lands.
