Take home a keepsake for the dayHamilton Park
Celebrating 50 years 1971-2021
Hamilton Park estate began as one man’s dream …’ an imaginative idea that many thought at the time was fanciful and bound to fail’. The book provides a record of the eventual implementation and development of Hamilton Park from 1921-2021.
The scope of this book, in words and pictures, recollects the period of 50 years, to evoke memories of Hamilton Park as a place that has always been a little different. Nestled at the foot of the Warby Ranges, Hamilton Park was designed to encapsulate the natural bush setting and mountain views. The stories and anecdotes of those who have lived here reflect above all a strong sense of community and love for the environment in which they live.
This 96 page Perfect Binding, also known as PUR binding soft cover book is a unique collection of artefacts of the early 70s -2000s including maps, news clippings from local newspapers and the community newsletter. Stories and anecdotes from past and present residents reflect the progress of time over five decades and a strong affection for the community in which they live. Margaret Butt and Jan Osmotherly, local artists, have contributed photos of local flora and fauna that showcase the unique environment of Hamilton Park and truly make this book a keepsake.
