Hamilton Park Garden Club

In the early 1990's a small group of ladies started a monthly Garden Club. This is a very informal gathering which meets monthly at different residents homes and have a walk around their garden.

Gorgeous garden club morning tea at Wil's house.

A better day couldn’t have been chosen to visit Wil’s house for the November 2014 Garden Club morning tea. We were all inspired by her gardening handy work.

We particularly liked the relaxing nook out the back.

A very relaxing morning enjoying a delicious morning tea.

After a lovely tour of the garden we all enjoyed a relaxing sit down under the shade of the wisteria.

Deb Goodson has a gorgeous veggie patch

Deb has put a lot of hard work into her vegetable patch and it has rewarded her with plenty of produce.

GARDEN CLUB

The Garden Club is a lovely social group who meet on the Fourth Monday of every month at 10am.  The host arranges morning tea and discussed current topics and sometimes exchanges cuttings for propagation.  If you are interested in finding out more fill in the form on the right to contact Tina and find out where to meet and what to bring.

It would be great to get some younger people involved.

Weeding Group

There is a small but dedicated ‘weeding group’ that works in the bush land areas, usually for 2 hours on a Thursday morning – except over summer when its too hot.

Hamilton Park is surrounded with native trees and shrubs.  The Weeding Group aims to keep introduced weeds under control in order to let the native vegetation thrive and not get overrun with weeds.
